Is there a cost for this service?
This service is covered by OHIP. All Ontario residents are covered with their health card.
How do I book an appointment?
You can either call 1-800-594-0537 or you can book online yourself.
I don’t have access to video chat. Can I do the visit on the phone?
Most visits can be completed by a phone call. The web based videoconferencing is only used when necessary.
How long does it take to see a doctor?
You can see a doctor in as little as 15 minutes after scheduling your visit. We have many doctors available 7 days a week.
Will I be able to get a prescription faxed to my pharmacy?
Yes, we will ask your pharmacy details and fax them a prescription for you. We can do both new prescriptions and refills of existing prescriptions.
Is it possible to have the prescription emailed to me?
Yes, absolutely. We use secure and compliant email.
What if I need bloodwork or an x-ray?
We can order any medical tests you require. The results can be emailed to you and forwarded to your family doctor.
Can you provide sick notes or specialist referrals?
Yes, we can email a sick note to you too as well as do referrals to your local specialists.
My doctor tells me not to use walk in clinics. Will this visit hurt my doctor?
No, this visit will not impact your family doctor.
Are you able to send a copy of the visit to my family doctor?
Yes, we can email all records to your family doctor.
Are there any female doctors available?
Yes, we have both male and female doctors.
I don’t speak much English, can my relative speak on my behalf?
Yes, that can be arranged.
Do you have doctors who can speak South Asian languages?
We have doctors who can also speak Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
Are your doctors all trained in Canada?
All our doctors are Canadian qualified family physicians who are licenced with CPSO, OMA and CMPA.
Do you have a physical office and location?
Yes, we have a location in Cambridge, Ontario where we see patients in person.
Do you prescribe narcotics?
No, we can not prescribe any controlled substances.
What sort of conditions do you deal with?
We can deal with any health issue. From prescription refills to coughs, sore throats, headaches, urinary tract infections, rashes, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, back pain, headaches, post surgical, post delivery, and more!
